Mecalab is looking for a Project Manager specialized in piping to lead industrial projects, ensuring quality, deadlines, and costs, with experience in project management in the food or pharmaceutical sectors.

Your mission
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing piping projects, from design to commissioning. You will ensure that deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements are met, while maintaining effective communication with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
Your main responsibilities
🔹 Commercial management
- Analyze customer needs and propose tailored technical solutions.
- Develop and negotiate commercial and technical offers in collaboration with internal teams.
- Participate in contract review and negotiation to ensure advantageous and well-defined terms.
- Monitor project invoicing and profitability in coordination with the finance department.
🔹 Project management
- Oversee projects and ensure their smooth execution.
- Be the main point of contact for the client and coordinate internal and external teams.
- Manage planning and resource allocation to meet cost, deadline, and quality objectives.
- Ensure that project deliverables comply with applicable standards.
🔹 Technical and quality monitoring
- Develop and manage technical and construction documentation.
- Supervise non-destructive testing (NDT) and quality inspections.
- Optimize processes and methods to improve project efficiency.
🔹 Commercial and contractual aspects
- Participate in the consultation phase and offer solutions that meet client needs.
- Develop and negotiate commercial and technical offers.
- Manage invoicing and ensure financial follow-up of projects.
Your profile
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in industrial piping project management. Experience in the food or pharmaceutical sectors is a plus.
Education: Industrial or civil engineer (or equivalent experience) specializing in mechanics, metallurgy, or project management.
Technical skills:
- Experience in piping projects (stainless steel is a plus).
- Knowledge of materials and welding processes.
- Mastery of quality and safety standards in industrial environments.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources.
Personal qualities:
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong organizational skills, rigor, and autonomy.
- Customer-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
Languages: Fluent in French, technical English is appreciated.
